Nollywood actor, Uche Odoputa, has opened up on his travails after he arrested in 2007 by the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency for trafficking drugs. Udoputa who also directs and produces was jailed for two years and three weeks and he spoke in a recent interview with BroadWay Africa TV about his life before the incident, his regrets and his plans for the future. He said he was open to the drug trafficking offer because he thought he could drastically change his living conditions when he wasn’t getting any substantial movie roles, and when he could not afford to feed or house himself and his family.  JAMB has blacklisted 48 CBT centres across Nigeria for malpractice in 2017 UTME - The JAMB registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, said that 24 other centres were suspended for failing to live up to expectations - He said that JAMB had fixed July 1, 2017 as the date for supplementary examination for candidates who registered late for this year’s UTME The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has blacklisted 48 Computer-Based Test centres over their alleged involvement in extortion and organised examination malpractices during the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. Sources gathered that JAMB’s Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, made the disclosure on Wednesday June 14 in Abuja at a news conference at the end of an enlarged meeting with external examiners and other stakeholders in the conduct of the 2017 UTME. In recent pictures, Olamide took to his social media handle to show off his son’s new hairstyle. The inter-ethnic fracas broke-out after an Hausa man reportedly killed a girl and a woman -  Police say everything has been put under control  The police command in Imo state has said that three people have been killed following an inter-ethnic flare-up in the state. According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), two women and a man were murdered at Akokwa community in Ideato Local Government Area on Sunday, June 11. DSP Andrew Enwerem, the police spokesman who confirmed the incident in a chat with NAN on Friday in Owerri, said some others sustained injuries. Enwerem explained that an unidentified man, said to be from the northern part of Nigeria, had run amok and killed a girl and a woman and thereafter killed himself. He said some aggrieved youths immediately went for reprisal attacks.
